It was truly an honour to be part of the 2nd All India CEO Conclave, organised by The Interview Times in Bhubaneswar, a remarkable gathering of 100+ CEOs, entrepreneurs, technology leaders and distinguished delegates.
Beyond the grand welcome, felicitation and insightful panel discussions, what made the conclave special for me were the conversations, innovations and inspiring entrepreneurial stories that reflect the changing face of Odisha.
I was delighted to interact with Mr. Priyadarshi Nanu Pany , MD & CEO, CSM Technologies, one of Odisha’s leading technology entrepreneurs. CSM’s journey and recent IPO milestone are inspiring examples for technology entrepreneurs from Odisha, demonstrating that companies built from Odisha can dream big, scale globally and achieve significant milestones.
When Technology Feels Like Magic!
We have all watched magic shows during our school and college days, wondering how a magician could reveal a person’s name or something hidden about them.
I witnessed an equally fascinating moment when Mr. Deepak Kumar Nath , Founder & CEO, Threatsys Technologies, demonstrated ethical hacking live from the stage. With appropriate permission, he showed how our digital footprints can expose personal information that may be publicly accessible or vulnerable online. During the demonstration, he identified an audience member and highlighted examples of information that could potentially be uncovered through their digital footprint, such as food delivery activity, commonly used password patterns, his Designation and other online traces. It was a powerful reminder of how much information we leave behind online and why cybersecurity and responsible digital practices are more important than ever.
It felt like technology magic, but it carried a very serious message. How secure is our personal data in today’s hyper connected world? His demonstration powerfully highlighted why data privacy, cybersecurity and digital awareness must become fundamental priorities for individuals, enterprises and governments.
Aerospace Innovation — From Odisha to the World
When we think about India’s aerospace ecosystem, names like ISRO, HAL and Bengaluru naturally come to mind.
I was therefore amazed to hear Mr. Uday Bhanu Das, CEO, Krystellar Aerospace, speak about the innovations his team is pursuing across aerospace, drones and radar technologies. It was another reminder that Odisha is steadily building capabilities in areas that were once associated primarily with India’s established technology hubs.
I was also privileged to participate in the panel discussion on the “Impact of AI on the IT Services Industry”, where we discussed how AI is transforming software engineering, productivity, business models and the future of technology services.
The panel discussion became even more engaging because of the insightful moderation by Mr. Mohar Manohar Mishra, CTO & Founder, Inovaare Corporation. Thank you, Mohar, for brilliantly steering the conversation, bringing out diverse perspectives from every panelist and keeping both the panel and audience actively engaged for more than 30 minutes.
Building the Odisha of 2036
Entrepreneurial success cannot happen in isolation. Building Bhubaneswar and Odisha into strong hubs for IT, AI, semiconductors, data centres, cybersecurity and emerging technologies requires an enabling ecosystem.
My sincere appreciation to Mr. Manas Panda, Director, STPI Odisha, and Dr. Pradeep Kumar Rout, CEO, OCAC, for supporting entrepreneurs through infrastructure, awareness, training, facilities, policies and ecosystem development.
My sincere thanks also to Honorable Member of Parliament Dr Rabindra Narayan Behera and Dr. Madan mohan Sethi , Consul General of India in Auckland, New Zealand, for encouraging entrepreneurs and CEOs to actively contribute towards the larger national and visions of Viksit Bharat 2047 and Utkarsh Odisha — building a Viksit Odisha as the state approaches 100 years in 2036.
