Summary

We’re looking for a Performance Engineer who lives and breathes optimization—someone who can transform milliseconds into microseconds and ensure our applications run faster than a caffeine-fueled squirrel on rollerblade

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Design and execute performance tests to evaluate system scalability, reliability, and responsiveness
  • Analyze bottlenecks across applications, databases, APIs, and infrastructure.
  • Build robust testing frameworks using tools like JMeter, Gatling, or LoadRunner.
  • Collaborate with developers and architects to define performance SLAs and ensure systems meet them
  • Develop performance dashboards and monitoring strategies to detect and prevent performance degradation.
  • Continuously improve load testing strategies based on real-world usage data.
  • Tune databases, services, and configurations for lightning-fast performance.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, k6).
  • Strong understanding of system architecture, multithreading, caching, and scalability.
  • Proficient in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or JavaScript).
  • Experience with APM tools (New Relic, AppDynamics, Dynatrace).
  • Deep knowledge of HTTP, REST, network protocols, and latency optimization.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating performance testing into the DevOps lifecycle.
  • Understanding of cloud infrastructure and tuning apps in AWS/GCP/Azure environments.
